Our beliefs

Restoration Life Church is part of the Assemblies of God and holds to the fellowship's doctrines. Four of these beliefs are considered the cardinal doctrines of the fellowship.

salvation

The doctrine of Salvation is the at the very foundation of living a Christian life. Salvation is received putting our trust in Jesus Christ alone. Through this truth, a believer has access to the abundant life God has in store for him or her. We believe it is important that every person has a clear understanding of salvation and the victory it brings through Christ in our lives. (John 3:3, 16, 17; Romans 10:13; Ephesians 2:8, 9)

divine healing

Jesus healed the sick and restored lives everywhere he went (Isaiah 61:1). Divine healing is an integral part of the gospel. We believe that Jesus still heals today (Isaiah 53:4-5).

Baptism in the Holy Spirit

The truth of the baptism in the Holy Spirit makes us a distinctive body of believers. Jesus promised that power from on high would come to help His followers be witnesses in all the world. As we continue to fulfill Christ's commission to reach the world, this power is needed and available to all believers today. We believe it is God's plan for every believer to be baptized in the Holy Spirit! (Acts 1:8, 2:4, 17-18, 38-39)

second coming of Christ

We live in a world filled with uncertainties, disaster, war, famine, and struggling economies. The fact that Jesus will return to earth is a biblical truth that is as appropriate as ever for the church today. We believe that Christ will return to rule and reign. (1 Thessalonians 4:14-16; 1 Corinthians 15:51-52)
