What will worship service be like?

Restoration Life Church (RLC) has always been a place where we keep it simple. Our atmosphere is relaxed, but focused. We believe that we don't need to be flashy or put on big productions for people to meet God. We believe that Jesus is enough. Here's what you can expect during a typical worship gathering:

Singing

During the worship service, our worship team will lead us in a number of songs. As we sing, our focus is not on ourselves or the people around us, but telling Jesus how much we love Him. So, no matter what kind of voice you have, sing out with all of your heart. Feel free to sit, kneel, stand, clap, or lift your hands during the worship time, knowing that worship is about connecting with God, and not external appearances.

Prayer

One of the greatest privileges we have as followers of Jesus is being able to pray with boldness and confidence. During the worship time, anyone who needs special prayer will ahve the opportunity to have someone pray with them. We serve a supernatural God and we have seen God do miraculous things in these moments during our services. We earnestly believe in the power of prayer and any of our pastors or deacons would be honored to pray with you before, during, or after the service.

Preaching

At RLC, we believe that the Bible is God's gift to us to show us who He is, what He's done for us, and how we can honor Him in our everyday life. Every week, Pastor Dave preaches straight from the Bible in a way that is helpful and challenging. You won't hear the opinions of men, but simply the Word of God. If you don't have a copy of the Bible with you, we will make sure you get one.

what should i wear?

Well, we recommend wearing clothes. Seriously, though, RLC is a "come as you are" church. We want you to feel comfortable. We are more concerned with meeting your real life needs than with what you wear. We're just thrilled that you're joining us and we want you to be more focused on who you're worship than what you're wearing. Most people dress casual, though a few still prefer to put on the "Sunday best," and that's fine too! We think you'll fit in no matter how you dress.

Where should i park?

Parking spots are available at the church and there's a parking lot across the street. There's plenty of parking for all!

what do you have

for my kids?

RLC is a family-friendly environment. We believe that children are a blessing from God and are a vital part of every local church. We know that, as a parent, it is important that your children are in a safe and fun learning environment. We work hard to make sure that both of these goals are reached. RLC's children's ministries provide a fun, interactive, and stimulating environment intended to fill children with the wonder of knowing God, loving Him, and serving others.  Every child, birth through 6th grade, is considered unique and special. Each child receives individual, focused attention. In a warm, secure, and loving environment, infants through 6th graders receive biblical instruction consistent with their age. Our teachers go "all out" to make their weekend time a vibrant, creative, Christ-centered experience. Truth is communicated "hands-on," stimulating kids to experience the realities of the Bible and the Christian life for themselves.

what do you have for my teenagers?

Every Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m., the students experience a sense of community along with relevant biblical teaching through Sunday School. We encourage students to join the larger church body in the main sanctuary in the 10:30 a.m. service as their primary worship experience. One Wednesday nights, we offer an engaging worship gathering designed for middle school and high school students led by leaders who are passionate about helping students become everything God created them to be.

will i be asked to

give money?

If you are a guest, please do not feel any obligation to give. We are focused on what we can do to serve you, not on what you can give to us.

why should i fill out a connection card?

The Connection Card is a great way for us to get to know you. We would be grateful to know you've visited us. Another benefit of filling out a Connection Card is that there's a space on the back for you to write down a prayer request. We have a prayer team that will pray over your request throughout the week. You can fill out the Connection Card any time during the service and place it in the offering bag or drop it off at the hospitality center.

Another quick way to connect with us is to text the word "welcome" (without the quotation marks) to 870-451-5757 or just click here. Then, just follow the directions and we'll be able to connect with you.

Either way you go, we have a special gift we'd like to give you just for taking the time to connect with us. You can take your Connection Card to the hospitality center to pick up your gift, or if you connected with us by text, you can just head to the hospitality center. They'll be ready for you!
